Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

OCD is an anxiety disorder characterized by obsessions and/or compulsive behaviors. People with OCD can be overwhelmed by persistent unwelcome thoughts or images, or by the insistent need to engage in certain rituals. They may be obsessed with germs or dirt, and wash their hands over and over. They may be filled with doubt and feel the need to check things repeatedly. Rituals are usually performed to provide relief from the unwanted obsessions.

Summit Research Network occasionally participates in research studies for OCD. If you would like more information about OCD studies please call us at (503) 228-CARE (2273), or fill out the form below and we will contact you.
