Fibromyalgia

Fibromyalgia is a common disorder of chronic, widespread pain that is often accompanied by fatigue, sleep disturbance, morning stiffness and headaches. The diagnosis is confirmed when pain occurs as slight pressure is applied to specific tender points. Those with fibromyalgia complain of tender areas in hips and shoulders that may hurt when touched. People with fibromyalgia can feel fatigued, have trouble sleeping, and complain of mental fogginess.
